| We
went to Holland only one week, but in a few days we realised that it was
an ecological country that looked after its environment.
It
is a flat country, and so, they can go by bicycle everywhere: to school,
to work, and to do the shopping. We could go to school by bicycle and it
wasn't very hard.
The
bicycle is the most ecological transport and so, Holland isn't a contaminated
country. In Amsterdam there are a lot of trams and few buses. Trams are
more ecological than buses, so the air isn't very polluted. There are bicycles
too in Amsterdam, though there are also a lot of cars.
The
streets are very clean because there are many waste paper baskets and there
aren't any papers on the ground. We could also see that the Dutch students
cleaned their schools during the break and they picked up all the papers
from the floor. During our stay in Holland we could check that it is an
ecological country.
